MV Agusta reclaims full control – breaks away from KTM

MV Agusta confirms that the company is now returning to full ownership under Art of Mobility S.A., which is controlled by the Sardarov family. This marks the official end of the collaboration with KTM and the beginning of a new era of independence for the Italian motorcycle manufacturer.

MV Agusta is an Italian motorcycle brand renowned for its exclusive, high-performance bikes and iconic design. Founded in 1945, it has a strong racing heritage, boasting multiple world championship titles in road racing.

Following a successful 2024, the separation allows MV Agusta to avoid any impact from KTM’s ongoing financial restructuring. Recently, the company has strengthened its financial stability, with 2024 marking a record year—achieving a 116% growth compared to 2023. At the same time, spare parts sales have reached new milestones, with a 99% availability rate for models up to seven years old.

MV Agusta assures that its 219 active dealerships will continue operating as usual, with plans to expand to 270 stores globally. This strategic independence ensures stability for dealers and suppliers, protecting them from potential disruptions.

Timur Sardarov, CEO of Art of Mobility S.A., expressed his enthusiasm for the development:

“Regaining full control means we are stronger and more focused than ever on delivering excellence. Our reinforced organisation and dealer network will elevate MV Agusta to new heights.”
