KTM’s restructuring plan approved – production to resume in March

As part of the recovery effort, KTM is launching a new digital platform called ‘Orange Blood’ – a community-focused initiative aimed at bringing together KTM riders, dealers, and fans from around the world. The platform will serve as an interactive hub where riders can share their stories, join events, and help shape the brand’s future direction.
In celebration of the reconstruction, KTM lit up the sky over Mattighofen on 25 February 2025 with its signature orange lights – a powerful symbol of rebirth and renewed optimism. The company has also pledged greater transparency and closer dialogue with the motorcycle community through initiatives like the KTM Orange Board, giving ambassadors, riders, and dealers a direct channel to the brand’s leadership.
In an official statement, KTM AG CEO Gottfried Neumeister emphasised the brand’s resilience despite recent challenges:
“We’re still here. The engines are running, the LED lights are on, and we’re fuelling up and recharging as fast as we can. Mistakes have been made, lessons have been learned. Now we want to prove that KTM stands for what our customers truly value. With Orange Blood, we want to get closer to our riders – their input and feedback are vital to our evolution. Orange Bleeders are KTM enthusiasts who support us through highs and lows. As our new campaign says: ‘Passion never goes bankrupt.’”
With the restructuring plan approved and the launch of Orange Blood, KTM is now focused on a strong comeback – both on the track and on the road. The priorities ahead include restarting production, strengthening relationships with customers and dealers, and continuing innovation in motorsport and technology.
