Husqvarna Recalls 2022–2024 off-road models with Braktec Brake System

The company has stated that all affected models will be inspected by authorised Husqvarna dealers, and if necessary, the front brake calliper will be replaced.
The issue stems from possible irregularities in the casting structure of a specific component, which could affect braking performance. The defect is not always visible or noticeable on all models, but Husqvarna is urging all owners to submit their motorcycles for inspection and, if required, repair.
If you own one of the affected models, you will receive a personal letter from Husqvarna requesting you to schedule an appointment with an authorised dealer. If you are unsure whether your motorcycle is included in the recall, you can check online on Husqvarna’s website.
The inspection and any necessary repairs are free of charge but can only be carried out by an authorised Husqvarna dealer. If you own a Husqvarna road bike, there is no need for concern, as the recall only applies to motocross, enduro, and cross-country models.
Husqvarna stated:
“Husqvarna is recalling all 2022-2024 motocross, enduro, and cross-country models with Braktec brake systems to allow authorised dealers to inspect a potential issue with the front brake calliper. Irregularities in the casting structure of a specific component may impair braking performance, and therefore, this must be inspected and replaced if necessary.”
